Waxmen and Markey... Markey and Waxmen... We could attribute these two, if this bill is passed, to the potential downfall of a great country.
I was surfing the internet for sites and have found many that disagreed with cap and fail. Another reason why Obama wants to control the net. So this new tax bill will limit carbon emissions, huh? Most likely based off of Al Gore's ever mysterious changing theory, global warming, cooling, climate change, or something to that effect. I find it hilarious that they use that picture of a polar bear on ice, when it's photographer says it had nothing to do with global warming. But we now have political science running our government. In my very first post here I blogged about global warming, and many of us swing back to it, to continue to refute it's claims as more scientists and countries speak out against its' stupidity. Like I've said before, those who want a grant for their scientific studies throw in global warming for a sure payment. If another scientist and I were studying something of the same effect, such as warmth on a Twinkie, I could throw global warming as a sure bet that I'd receive the grant that we were competing for. And since when has global warming been a "set science." It hasn't even been proven, yet isn't science supposed to be set on truth, rather than on emotion? So this bill is apparently supposed to save the earth from a certain doom we humans are "causing." Why don't the global warming enthusiasts go to the sun and tell it to cool off a little, (even though we've been in a cooling trend). Yet folks at such places like the Heritage Foundation have found this is extremely flawed and could cause gas and energy prices to spike up to an additional $3000 per year. And this is based off something that isn't happening.
Why don't we tax random things as viable as global warming, such as a leprechaun tax on their gold they pile under rainbows, or how about the Easter Bunny? Is his/her egg factory uninsured, does he/she have immigrant workers, or a patent on Easter eggs? Does Santa need a passport or does he have a green card? What about Alien abductions? That doesn't quite fit under Obama's health care. Does bigfoot receive subsidies for all the memorabilia launched in the northwest? Of those who support this bill lack any scientific knowledge whatsoever of carbon and carbon producers. Their scientific "factual" thoughts have been replaced with emotional stupidity. All Al Gore wanted was attention and has done as much as possible to get back into the spotlight, and double his worth. Easy money from scared suckers.
