Tea Party Express- Denver 11/03

A cool night and a patriotic crowd showed up in downtown Denver last night when the tea party express bus backed it's way out of a busy street. My estimate ranged at 250-400 people, with a small liberal pro-nationalized health care crowd trying to cause fights and anarchy to downplay the event. The bus pulled in around sunset, snow still on the ground from our October storm, and a partially veiled moon peeked out behind some clouds. The bus got stuck in traffic and showed up late, but during that time people riled the crowd up with their signs and the chant of USA and FREEDOM! The crowd ranged from the very young of 4 all the way to men and women in their 80's, of all backgrounds and walks of life. As the tea party started, music was played, spirits were high, despite the cold, (global warming didn't show up), and a patriotic sense filled the atmosphere. A wide range of interesting speakers and songs followed. One of the most interesting part was when the liberal pro-nationalized health care crowd tried to storm our tea party. They could not get beyond the folks in the back, where I was close to, and so they resorted to interrupting our speaker, (Deborah Johns, vice chairman of PAC), and trying to pick fights. These liberals were uninformed and ignorant, yet were most likely paid off by the look of their signs, which were not home made, and were met by Americans who knew the facts of the current Piglosi bill. You could see they were scared by the looks in their eyes, not by violence, but the general feeling of the populace that has been growing of late. No doubt the libs wanted violence to break out as to downplay and condemn the entire event, but we took up the chant of USA, and after some arguments, they retreated and ran. After this whole ordeal Joe the Plumber gave a great speech, and others continued on. They are on their way to DC and on Thursday will have another tea party. All in all, the tea parties show the general feelings held by the country, and these upcoming elections are proof of that.

Let's take back America. It's not just conservatives that are riled. Independents are feeling betrayed, republicans are confused, the democrats are fighting their own party wars, and those that are indifferent and apathetic are seeing this administrations continuing failures. We need to continue flooding the offices of our representatives with phone calls, mail, and protests. We need to continue battling the liberals who see their power failing with facts and knowledge of the current bills and situations that surround us and our fellow countrymen abroad. The uninformed are being surprised that information that we provide is contradictory of what MSNBC or CNN says, and we can prove our statements, such as how much tax increases will result from the Piglosi bill. Lets not stop now.

I did not have a camera at this one, but I found these two sites you can check out. Both contain pictures and reflections on the event. http://thefreedomimages.wordpress.com/2009/11/04/tea-party-express-comes-to-denver/

The Denver Tea Party Rocked

This is looking upon the capital at Denver on Tax Day.

A giant crowd of Americans angry at our government. It was a nice toasty 73 degree day and the party was reported to have 5,000-6000 people!.

A nice Don't Tread on me flag. Saw that flag flown all over the crowd.

More pics of the crowd

That stud would be me! Looking into my sunglasses you'll see a reflection of the crowd.

Lots of great signs were held up.

A great sign there.

Loved that sign there. I wish I could have captured them, but there were purple hog balloons flying around. A nice porkulus rip.

Loved this sign too.

A very large protest of great Americans.

The mountains in the background. Thought it looked good.

A random pic of some of the crowd.

The steps of the Denver Capital Building. This is where the speeches occurred.

Another picture of the crowd and steps. I had to carefully maneuver my way around for good pics.

The two signs on the right were great.

The man who put it together, god bless him.

More great Americans.

I hope you enjoyed the pictures. This is a day that will be remembered, and the folks here in Denver definitely want another tea party next year. As far as the liberals who wanted to disrupt the event, I never saw any, but they had no chance. There was no way they could disrupt a crowd that big that is so pumped full of anger towards our nation moving the wrong way. There were no arrests, violence, or fights. What was funny is that our state politicians could hear us loudly on the floor, but none of our elected politicians wanted to speak. They declined and told the workers there that they could not listen to or watch any of the speakers. Elected by the people for the people, huh? People down the hill by the street held signs up and a majority of the cars responded to their messages with a resounding honk. Two of our new stations were present, and watching the 5 O Clock news one of our democrat leaders said that we were being PARTISAN, and "that we should realize" it's all "BUSH'S FAULT!!!" They also reported that we were saying impeach Obama, which I heard nobody say, but you know the media. Even when caught in a corner our elected idiots point fingers somewhere else, never taking the blame. But we were noticed by many. I hope this planted a seed that will grow, not only in our elected leaders who aren't as partisan as our liberal democrat leaders, but also those who are uninformed or complacent with whats going on. It's been a fun day and I look forward to hearing about the others. These tea parties will be known. Oh yeah, I guess we were all right wing extremers!

Liberals mounting fear of the tea parties continue

I went behind enemy lines into the huffingtonpost to discern what their thoughts were on the upcoming tea parties. It really didn't surprise me the results that ensued! One article on tea bagging, saying she laughed so hard at the concept it was hard to "report." Another ripping on republicans blogging they live in an old world of anti-intellectualism. Another writer ripped on Glenn Beck saying their party is over with and America is fast becoming a one-party system.  This writer called Fox an inciter to get news and being politically biased. So, if my opinion wasn't deleted, you'd see a comment asking why MSNBC, CNN, ABC, NBC or other major news networks will be absent if they are so politcally unbiased. At least Fox will stand against the tide of liberal or "progressive" reporters too afraid to show disention amoung the populace. The article's writer rips on Glenn Beck, thinking that one who helps fundraise an event is so politcally biased they are bad. What about those who had tingle up their legs, or only ripped on republicans but not democrats? Any unbiasness from those reporters?  Do liberals really know the word hipocrite, or are they just that stupid?  Oh here's where it gets even more interesting. This made me laugh! A Tea party reporter to keep "track" of the movement!  We'll contact you shortly with further instructions.”

So, they need to contact these tea party "reporters" for instructions! Hmmmm, me thinks there's something more to this than is led on! Even if Fox is wrong about Acorns' attempts to sabatoge the tea party events, there's plenty of other liberal soldiers to do their dirty work. So liberals, if protesting on higher taxes is wrong, than what makes all of your protests right? Why is the protesting only restricted to those that agree with you? If you had it your way I'm sure you'd just shoot the protestors. Wait a minute. You hate guns too! Guess that couldn't work. But nevertheless, you are so afraid of  the uninformed listening to an opposition you'd do anything to quiet them. Kind of like the liberal news network did during the campaign and the gaffes that Obama and Biden have accomplished during their first few months in the white house and abroad.

These tea parties will be big, and we will be noticed. Paranoid writers, most of those at huffingtonpost, will continue to act strong and say the tea parties are full of anarchists and idiots, but know full well the implications if they are noticed across the country. After the tea parties, they'll post videos that make us look ignorant, stupid, hateful, and think that their blessed leader in the white house is safe from "dissenters." The liberal news networks will act like nothing happened, and we'll leave it to Fox to cover the reality that is occuring within our great country. Liberals are scared and they are showing it.
