Today's liberal ethics are indeed a hard thing to find, like the fountain of youth, the elusive Bigfoot, or Roswell New Mexico's Alien fiasco! Not only can you see it in our current administration, you see it all around you. For example. Whether or not you are a Christian or not, you might agree that secular societies do not work, ie the U.S.S.R. Such words as “Christ” and “Gospel” were considered a threat to the
existence of the Soviet regime. And this regime could not tolerate not only the
Christian teaching, but also any teaching of the truth and love. Their constant attack on Christianity these days, while staying politically correct to others such as Islam, really makes you wonder why the teachings of Christ scares them so much. I've always wondered why the belief through Christ for eternal salvation is evil. Do they think we were part of the Crusades? Here on townhall we are called religious zealots or bigots, and just because we believe in the definition of marraige, we are called homophobes.
"You did it so we can to." That is the reason they support the stimulus bill. They always go to Bush and his $2 trillion in 8 years, and support Obama matching that in one month! How does that justify anything? I agree Bush wasn't the most fiscal president, but to promote hypocracy because of political affiliation is as stupid as being kicked in the groin, and asking to be kicked again thinking it won't hurt. Their class envy makes absolutely no sense, except to gain votes of the stupid. Hey, Bob just started a business and is working all the time to make or break. Lets tax him up the wazoo because he has money! Yaaayyyy! Now Joey who sits around drinking beer all day will get free money! Wait a minute, why did Bob close his business? Under Obama and his administration, his tax "cuts" are a clear sign of what's coming. Why should "evil" rich people create jobs and prosperity for our country? And those who give to charity should be taxed for the money they give. After all, why should individuals help anybody when the government can do it, right? The Dow Jones is showing it's respect for Obama and it's policies! The sad thing is, if Obama keeps this up, and the Dow Jones keeps going down, it could take years to recover.
Iraq and Afghanistan. Now there are two huge political debates for both sides. Both were voted by both parties for war, and we are still in both countries. Now, I'd like to have this opportunity to say God Bless our troops, and say thank you for your service, no matter what war you were in. Here is a vid showing the compassion held by some of the left or "progressives" for our brave soldiers.
Progressive "compassion for our troops video". The democrats used the unpopularity of Iraq for their benefit, which helped lead to Obama's presidency. Unfortunately there are many successes that go unreported, unless its an American or civilian death. And what's even worse is Obama's leaving 50,000 troops stationed in Iraq, adding more to Afghanistan, and the media will report the half truths spinning that Obama is the savior. I wouldn't call 50,000 troops in Iraq pulling all our troops out! What are they, civilians all dressed the same equipped with American weaponry who just happen to be from America? Why isn't that being reported? So Obama lied and though he said he'd bring our soldiers home, more are on their way to Afghanistan. He's gone back on his word, and the liberals support this! Last year they were screaming to bring them home! What's with the 180? I guess wars are only justified if someone with their political affiliation is in power. The same constant vigilance that Bush has kept since 9/11 should continue being implemented in our society. While we're at the war discussion, if "Bush lied people died" was true, then 'Obama lied people died can be used." Why don't we go back and say "Carter lied the economy died!"
The last thing I'd like to rant on is indoctrination. I guarentee you will like this clip from American Carol that came out in 2008:
Indoctrination dance! American Carol. Since I went to a smaller, private University, I missed out on alot of the indoctrination fun! One of my professors even went on to say he liked Bush and told us not to believe in Global Warming! Pretty brave guy. My fiancee though, goes to Colorado State University for her Masters in Literature. Plenty of pure liberal drivel being spewed at the students every class period. My fiancee said one of her professors said flat out he can't wait to change America into a socialist model under Obama, hoping to convert to communism someday. Amazing huh! Another one of her professors spewed 50 minutes of how Sarah Palin is stupid. That's money well spent. If I didn't want to dig myself into more debt, I'd work on my masters and become a teacher, trying to give the kids a both sides view, not I'm right and their wrong. Let the kids make their own decisions. I've been a flight instructor for almost a year, and have been complemented on my teaching style. I have a very good friend who became a teacher 2 years ago, and is chastized by her co-workers for her conservative views. They actually told her she was indoctrinated at college! When she told me this I almost cried I laughed so hard.
